Club Picnic
The annual all-you-can-eat LBC picnic is scheduled for Sunday, July 28. Again this year, the picnic will be held under the #1 shelter at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park. (The shelter on your left as you enter the park.) There will be three rides in the morning with staggered times so that we all arrive back at approximately the same time for pigging out. (Check your ride schedule for start times.) We will need plenty of food, so bring generous portions of your favorite recipe and share. Good suggestions include salads, fruits, veggies, desserts...in other words, typical picnic fare! (Homemade ice cream is always welcome!) The club will provide BBQ and soft drinks, water, lemonade and ice. (I will try to get the BBQ there on time this year.) Eating will commence around noon. The park has a volleyball court, horseshoe pits and a swimming pool (all open to the public), so if you want, get up a game for after the picnic. Like all LBC activities, the picnic is for any and all members and families. Feel free to bring a friend and introduce them to the club. We need a few volunteers to help set up and clean-up after. And a couple of ride captains. Please contact Norm Minnick at 452-6699 to lend a hand.
