WACKY/TACKY

The 1999 version of the WACKY/TACKY ride will occur July 3rd and 4th. The WACKY (Wheels Across Kentucky) will leave from the Belvedere at 6:15 a.m. and will finish near Franklin, Ky, 171 miles down the road. If there is enough interest, the TACKY (Tour Across Kentucky) will leave Sunday morning from Franklin and cruise back to Louisville.

If you are interested in participating in either or both sections, please contact Ride Captain Michael Lowe at 893-8798. Advance registration is necessary if you want to be assured of a hotel room or a ride back on Saturday night. A small fee may be required to cover the cost of the SAG van. Shorter rides, including a century, are planned for Saturday. Even if not going “all the way,” please plan to ride some of the way with those folks determined to make it to Tennessee.
