Annual Awards Banquet

Please reserve Saturday evening, December 6, on your calendar for the Club’s Annual Awards Banquet. It will once again be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall on River Road. Following a cash bar and buffet dinner, the program will elect 2004 officers, acknowledge our 2003 achievements and recognize the volunteers who made it all happen. Look for registration and cost details in the November/December newsletter.

During the Awards Banquet, LBC members and others who made significant contributions of their time and skills to our many programs will be awarded a Louisville Stoneware mug. In past years deserving members may have been overlooked when the list of volunteers was compiled. We’re trying to improve the process by asking members who feel they should receive a mug to self-nominate for the award. You can also nominate someone you think deserves one. Hopefully this will supplement the existing process and eliminate the disappointment of not receiving (or stupefaction at receiving) a mug. The guidelines and self-nomination instructions are below.
