Louisville Bicycle Club Newsletter — July-August 1997 Old Kentucky Home Tour — Call for Volunteers by Carol Leist

It’s that time again, to start training to be ready for riding along on this year’s Old Kentucky Home Tour. It’s also time for the planning committee to be at full speed ahead in preparation for the tour. How can you help make the 20th anniversary OKHT a success? By calling and volunteering—for yourself or a friend! There are many ways to help for riders and non-riders. But to make the tour a complete success, we need quite a few people to help support all of the hungry, thirsty riders at the SAG stops throughout the route. This is a great way to be part of the best tour around without having a sore saddle! If you or someone you know would like to volunteer, call Brenda Palmer (267-9175) or Carol Leist (491-9368). Be a part of OKHT 1997!
