This is the time of year when extra unwanted pounds can come to rest for the winter and you begin to understand what its like to be a slug. If this sounds like you, then Trainer Riding is just what you're looking for. Beginning Thursday, January 4th and every Thursday through February, you are invited to bring your wind trainer or rollers to St. Matthews Elementary School on Browns Lane for a great indoor bicycle riding workout.
These Thursdays are intended to break the monotony of indoor training, relieve cabin fever, help keep those unwanted pounds from settling in where they are not welcomed, get your derriere ready for the spring, and most of all to have an enjoyable winter evening with friends. The multi-purpose room will be open for us to use from 7:00-9:00 PM. You can come for part of the time or the entire time, it's totally up to you. You will need a bike, trainer or rollers, and a towel. If you have a favorite cassette tape or cycling video you would like to share, feel free to bring them along. Mark your calendar now for Thursdays in January and February and remember no one rides alone on these rides. If you need more info feel free to contact Don or me at 267-4477 or Kevin Clay at 254-9850. |
