Local and state law enforcement personnel and much of the general public are unfamiliar with or don't know the laws concerning the rights of cyclists. Beginning bike riders are in need of programs to assist them in handling skills, proper equipment, repair, and laws regarding their rights as a vehicle on the road. Bike Maintenance Classes offer a break during the winter days of little outdoor cycling and provide cyclists with the knowledge to maintain their bikes year to year. We could include many more facts to this exhaustive list, some of which are personal experiences where you have been harassed or even injured by a person uneducated in the law or rights of the cyclists.
